Senior UX Researcher/Concepter

Curiosity and creativity are your strong sides, you’ve a feel for people and understanding what users truly need to make digital experiences more intuitive? Then this role is for you!

What you'll do

  • You take ownership in one or more project teams and independently manage projects, always with the goal of creating user-centered UX.
  • You plan and steer qualitative and quantitative research projects from start to finish - from screener creation and recruitment through interviews and usability tests to analysis, synthesis, and presentation of results.
  • You ensure that the concepts/wireframes you create are both high-quality and implementable, by clearly summarizing your findings and drawing on your knowledge of guidelines (such as Google Material Design or Apple Human Interface Guidelines).
  • You independently lead interviews, tests, and workshops, and moderate both internal ideation sessions and those with clients.
  • You're the first point of contact for all research-related questions - for clients as well as internal colleagues - and actively support more junior colleagues.
  • You independently create estimates for research projects and align them with the team leads.
  • You define suitable outcome frameworks, analyze and synthesize complex insights, and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders, also acting internally as an interface between research and design.
  • You drive the ongoing development of our research and concept processes internally, e.g. by building a research repository, evaluating new tools, or exploring AI use cases in UX research and concept work.

What you bring

  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a UX Concepter and/or Researcher, ideally at an agency.
  • You speak and write fluent German (C-level) and English (B-level), so you can present your findings clearly and convincingly both internally and to our clients.
  • You have experience working directly with clients or stakeholders, can manage expectations, and act confidently as the main point of contact on the client side.
  • You work independently, enjoy taking on responsibility, and always keep the big picture in view.
  • You can translate user pain points and business needs into clear UX concepts, create wireframes and user journeys.
  • You can create prototypes for usability testing and client presentations.
  • You're familiar with common frameworks and guidelines (e.g. User Centered Design, Design Thinking, Google Material Design Guidelines and/or Apple Human Interface Guidelines / …).
  • You're familiar with common research frameworks and methods (e.g. usability testing, in-depth interviews, quantitative surveys, …) and know which method adds the most value at which point in the product cycle.
  • You're proficient in tools like Figma, FigJam, Dovetail, as well as productivity tools like Jira or Confluence, and enjoy discovering and learning new tools.
  • You have experience with AI-powered tools for UX research and design (e.g. Dovetail AI, Figma Agent, Claude, …) and are curious to explore their potential further.
  • You've already independently planned and run workshops and ideation sessions.

Nice to have

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design with a focus on user-centered behavior, or a similar area.
  • You bring initial experience in service design and know how to think beyond individual touchpoints toward end-to-end experiences.
  • You've already mentored colleagues, supported them in developing their career milestones, and conducted feedback sessions.

  • Coffee black, oat milk latte, or rather tea?

Our Mindset

The path to success

01

We are team players

We have each others’ back and offer each other help proactively. By giving our best to let our teamwork run smoothly, we do not only offer clients the best quality, but we also let our teammates have the best working experience.

02

We are self-managers

In order to achieve success, each individual has to work as a proactive problem solver. Let’s take full responsibility for accepting, estimating, solving, and communicating our tasks to the team.

03

We make an impact

We carry an entrepreneurial mindset to detect potential for improvement, make suggestions for improvement, and ultimately turn our suggestions into action. We put ideas into practice by being persistent and by overcoming barriers along the way.

04

We are authentic and optimistic

When things go wrong, we stay positive by turning the situation into a lesson for further improvement. Instead of complaining, we make suggestions, instead of hiding flaws behind a shiny facade, we admit mistakes, for the better.

05

We have a constant beta mindset

We embrace challenges, adapt creatively to new situations, and step out of our comfort zones for personal and professional growth. Let's prioritize self-reflection and constructive feedback to enhance our potential.

06

We communicate clearly

Let’s communicate our ideas, reasoning, opinions, and decisions in a precise and transparent way to avoid misunderstandings. We consider that everything is a hypothesis and that we could be wrong.
